Important: This app detects WiFi-connected cameras only. Analog, wired, or offline cameras cannot be detected. Results are not guaranteed.

1. Acceptance

By using Hidden Cam Detector, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes on iOS devices you own or control.

3. Subscriptions

Some features (such as detailed camera info) require a Premium subscription (monthly or annual)
Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
Subscriptions auto-renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renew in your Apple ID Account Settings after purchase
Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription
Refunds are handled by Apple per their refund policy

4. Disclaimer — Detection Limitations

The app uses Bonjour (mDNS) discovery and TCP port probing to identify devices on your WiFi network. This means:

Cameras using non-WiFi protocols (analog, wired, cellular) cannot be detected
Powered-off or disconnected cameras cannot be detected
Cameras using uncommon ports or proprietary protocols may be missed
Privacy-respecting devices that don't advertise services on the network may not appear

The app is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Detection results are best-effort and not guaranteed to be exhaustive.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use this app only on networks you own or have explicit permission to scan. Scanning networks without authorization may violate computer fraud laws in your jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to scan any network you connect to.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Commerce and its developers are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of the app, including but not limited to: missed cameras, false positives, network issues, or device damage.

7. Intellectual Property

The app and all its content are owned by AI Commerce. Trademarks of detected device manufacturers (Hikvision, Dahua, Axis, etc.) belong to their respective owners and are used solely for identification purposes.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
